Exploration XII – Experiencing Anxiety

What does my anxiety feel like? Currently it feels like a pressure, or a fizzing perhaps. Maybe I’m feeling my nervous system activating. It feels fluttery.

The experience of anxiety is indicative of unprocessed mental stimuli that is disturbing my body. I have recorded as many stressors as I could reasonably think of today, and concluded that there is no disaster looming or particular threat.

The goal of today is to accomplish the tasks I have assigned myself today, and to meditate during my lunch break for a few minutes and relax before reading my book for the remainder of the time.
