We’re back up to 400 activities a month, up from the previous month’s 360. I attribute the dip in activity levels between January and February to be mainly decompression from the holidays and adjustment to implementing the Long Term Planning schedule. Honorable mentions for struggling with food cravings, travel to Istanbul, and dealing with some parental stress.
I’m extremely proud to be doing so well. To be able to set goals and achieve them is so important to me, and that’s exactly what I’m doing this year, both with daily activity and long term planning. I told my therapist last week that I feel as though I’m running out of time in the day, but I think this is an illusion. I think that there is still a big chunk of daily time consumed by social media and internet browsing, about 5 hours a day. If I could cut that time by 1 hour, and spend that hour instead on to-do’s and long term planning, I think it would create a positive change in my environment.
Goals for April involve learning about comptia a+. This is a BIG deal for me since its already provoking quite a bit of anxiety just thinking about, its unpleasantly school adjacent. However, there are no deadlines, I have a supportive environment, and the ability to engage and disengage as I need to. I can even reduce activity levels to accommodate.
Another goal of mine is to slow the upward trend in weight weight gain thats been happening. So far this year I’ve been gaining about 2lbs per month, and I think that exercising more as well as eating healthier will be important to control that. I’ve started jogging again, and enjoying it. I need to find a steady diet I can eat during the week that feels accommodating and also controls my intake.
Sleep schedule is also important. I’ve noticed that work routine is slipping, though I’m still making it in on time I’m racing the clock again. I would like to be taking my time and getting there early enough not to rush.
All in all an extremely successful month, looking forward to April.
